Parents

Gill St. Bernard's parent body is a widely diverse group in terms of culture, race, socio-economics, religion, and parent occupation. They are community-minded, socially aware individuals who are grounded in positive values and who want to actively participate in the life of the school.

Parents are attracted to GSB for its academic excellence, strong arts and athletics programs, and its emphasis on values and service learning. Families value the healthy balance that the school achieves between academics and the social-emotional well-being of its students, between freedom of the individual and responsibility to the wider community. Gill St. Bernard's strives to make all parents feel welcomed and connected to the school and to each other. Every parent is automatically a member of the Parents' Association, and through the efforts of that group, the Administration and the Board of Trustees, the school provides numerous ways for parents to interact with each other and to participate in activities that foster community spirit.

In this section of the website you will find helpful parent-related information by clicking the tabs above. We encourage you to stay informed by frequently visiting the school calendarGSB's Facebook page, and KnightSite's resource board for each division's "Week Ahead" and other related documents.
